Title: Library Lion
Author: Michelle Knudsen
This book is a story about a lion that visits a library.
Naturally you would think he causes problems, making noises but he doesn't want
to leave. Miss Merriweather, the head librarian, doesn't
see any reason to expel this main attraction (for other customers), if he
abides by her rules. Lion obeys
the rules and obediently helps out around the library, like liking envelopes
and helping out Miss Merriweather. Beautifully drawn watercolour images capture
the reader’s attention, as well as show the excitement of other Library
visitors of various ages, as they watch the lion waiting for story time. It is a simple beautiful story that can be
enjoyed by parents and children, all about following rules and the friendships
that can help you obey them. Illustrations are done by Kevin Hawkes.
